Occultist Class [Shadowdark]

Steal gifts from powerful patrons and cast forbidden spells with blood!

A Shadowdark class inspired both by D&D 3rd Edition Archivist and by practitioners of esoteric magicks like John Dee, Aleister Crowley, Kenneth Grant, Madam Blavatsky, and others.

The occultist is able to cast any spell that exists in Shadowdark, as long as the player is able to find a scroll with that spell. This will very likely create weird and possibly broken situations situations. Negotiate in your table what kinds of nonsense you folks can tolerate and figure out what a good cadence of obtaining non-priest scrolls looks like for your campaign.
